FANG QUEEN
the bloody road;
a road paved by the blood of her adversary.

BLOODY ARMOR - FLIGHT OF THE RAPTOR
the fang regalia;

it imprisons its opponent in an inescapable pain, slicing and cutting their body to pave the path of the bloody road.

tricks;
+ trick one ; the hunt
used to confuse and allude opponents, before the wheels counter-rotate to use Bloody Armor in an attack, the high acceleration releases a sharp, high-pitched screech which causes the adversary to momentarily lose the ability to hear. The victim experiences the after effect of a high ringing in his/her ear followed by 20 - 40 second loss of hearing.

Weakness: Because it happens when the Regalia is initiated, it can't be used more than once a fight and only works when Dawson chooses to activate the Regalia.

+ trick two ; carnivorous
primary attack of the fang regalia, "fangs" slash at the opponent in sharp, vertical slices- carving what are described to look like claw marks into the flesh of his/her skin. This attack is often targeted at the back or chest of the opponent. If successful, the victim experiences a very sudden and agonizing, sharp pain where the carving was made.

Weakness: When the Fang Regalia is activated it automatically begins to put an enormous strain on the body- particularly her thighs. This attack, whether it hits or not, causes sharp pains to the thighs when released. Although the rider can become attuned to these pains, as the attack is continuously used the rider gradually starts to lose their momentum and their body begins to succumb to the pain. Overuse of this attack can cause, specifically for Dawson, permanent damage to whats left of her legs.

+ trick three ; triassic trap
primary defense of the fang regalia, the fang queen rides in a fluid and fast zig-zag formation while simultaneously her fangs cut into the surface she's riding on, creating lacerations and crevices. This technique is often used to take out more than one rider by cutting them off or defend a lead she carries by damaging the arena. Its not meant to cause extensive harm.

Weakness: Using this trick causes strenuous amounts of damage to the wheels of her ATs and if overused, can even cause them to break. Also, as much as it can be a help, during some Parts Wars (specifically D-Ranked), in particular environments or on certain surfaces its unusable.

+ trick four ; extinction
the fang regalia's infinite atmosphere technique, it is performed at a moment when the opposing rider is in free fall or ascension. The fang queen, depending on her position, does either a front flip or back flip towards her adversary. Using the momentum of the move the front fangs of the fang regalia bury and embed themselves into the opponent's body. Simultaneously, fangs deploy beneath her AT's, wrapping and binding her prey mid-air while securing their positions into freefall. With the combined force of the weight of themselves and gravity, the fang queen sends her victim crashing into the ground. She then unlatches her regalia and withdraws her fangs, ending her trick.

The victim often experiences, if the trick is fully successful, severe injuries including broken bones and/or internal bleeding, deep lacerations, and two clear puncture wounds where her regalia embedded itself into his/her body.

Weakness: Using this trick without the accessibility of a tuner does more harm than good. It not only puts an enormous amount of strain on the regalia's user but also severely damages the ATs when performed to its fullest potential. Overusing this move not only could break her ATs, but it also has the potency to paralyze her completely from the waist down. Therefore, without a tuner Dawson sparingly ever uses this trick. If anything, she'll perform something similar but of course, its nothing of the same caliber.

[ A I R T R E K S]

FLIGHT OF THE RAPTOR thefangregalia
Nicknamed "Raptor" for short, these blades are her primary pair of Air Treks. Unlike most AT's that take on the shape of a short boot (of course there are some exceptions), hers are actually the entirety of her legs and take on a more athletic skeleton. Beginning at the base of the upper thigh, everything down is all pure AT that was made with a mix of collected parts and the old fang regalia. With inspiration taken from the new style of prosthetics which feature mechanical and sporty appearances, her legs look robotic and stylish. On one of her legs on the front plating- where normally the shin would be located- the Jurassic symbol is engraved into the material, making it almost like an artificial tattoo. Along the inside lining of the mechanics are where her "fangs" reside- releasing out when the AT is activated but otherwise being folded in. Surrounding the skates along with jutting off of the outside of the sides, she has armor of what takes on the appearance like sharp "claws" of varying lengths and bone- all that curve towards the back of her heel. At the very front of both skates she has a very sharp, pointed sickle claw - the trademark of her name - which when activated becomes serrated with the energy of her ATs while on the back of her heel she also has smaller curved claws. Taken from the Fang Regalia, her wheels are fairly thin and look like curled up saw blades. When activated, they open out to reveal their true and full saw blade shape. Because of her wheels thin shape she cannot jump very high or far but unlike several of the previous Bloody Road riders, her ability to jump isn't inhibited completely. In short, Raptor is one sick pair of AT's.

[ P E R S O N A L I T Y]
perseverance │ stubborn │ hardworking;
Thought to be born with a natural drive at doing what she wanted, when faced even with a difficulty so extreme such as losing her legs, she managed to make something out of it. No matter what she does Dawson makes goals for herself and aims nothing lower. When she puts her heart and her mind into something, even if it takes strenuous amounts of time and energy, she preservers and rises to be the best she can be. No matter what obstacle she takes on, Dawson won't take no for an answer; she'll do everything in her power to conquer and come out on top.

competitive │ ruthless │ sharp-witted;
Whether its simplistic or difficult, Dawson hardly ever backs down from a sincere challenge. She lives for the thrill of rivalry and the rush of adrenaline she feels from competing, but more importantly she enjoys witnessing her growth through her wins and loses. Dawson takes all challenges seriously- even if it was originally meant as a joke, she will go all out to crush her opponent subconsciously. She just can't help herself. No matter if the challenger is way above or below her in skill level, she will put her all into every run and not go down without a fight. Going neck and neck till the last moment is all but a ton of serious, heated fun in her eyes. Plus, who doesn't like soaking in that feeling of victory.

protective │ trustworthy │ respectful;
She may not have siblings or any close relatives other than her parents, but her team is as much of her family as her mother and father. You fuck with her team, you fuck with her and she is not afraid to rip out the throat of anyone that goes after her family. Dawson is extremely protective of whats important to her- whether that is her ATs, her team, her parents, or even herself. It earns her respect, but speaks loudly of what kind of character she is. Sometimes the way she comes off might seem selfish or rude but really, its her being protective. If she finds a rider a threat, she won't let them near her team. If anything, she'll try to take them on alone to prove a point. You want to mess with Jurassic, you go through me first. Going hand in hand with her protectiveness, she has an aura of trustworthiness about her. Her teammates know she has their back -whether emotionally or physically- and she trusts in them wholeheartedly that they feel the same way.

critical │ clever │ rational;
A very simple but valuable lesson was learned when she lost her legs- never underestimate the opponent. Dawson doesn't do drastic things without thinking them over first or rationalizing the situation. She takes situations into perspective and fleshes out the reality. When faced with a problem she cannot solve she researches and educates herself. She's direct and upfront about it. To her there is either a yes or a no and nothing in between. In a way, she can also be expressed as critical towards her self. When she has something wrong in her run, she has to do it over and over again until shes got it nailed. She won't accept anything half-assed. As the saying goes- you are your own worst critic, and she is no different.

reserved │ proper │independent
Dawson keeps whats truly personal often to herself. Although she isn't a quiet person, she chooses what she says carefully and often restrains herself from forming deeper relationships that might cause her to lose her independence or mingle her "day life" with her "night life". Dawson likes to keep her problems only her problems and strays away from searching out for understanding among others. There are times she may open up to a chosen mature few, but its on a very rare occasion. She keeps what life she lives outside of the AT world separate from her life associated to ATs and prefers it this way. Although ATs are a good way to express emotion, she feels a ride shouldn't be fueled by anything other than your love of the sport.

confident │ proud │ cocky;
When it comes to riding, Dawson doesn't think she skilled, she knows it. Though, that doesn't mean she thinks of herself as the best or thinks that she can't be taught a thing or two about improving her ride. Dawson knows she's got some pretty kick ass moves and some sick ATs, and likes to flaunt that from time to time- shes damn proud of it. To others, this pride may come off as cockiness or it may come off as confidence, it may create rivalry or even admiration. Either way, she struts with a swelled chest and a confident stride and doesn't look down on herself.

[ H I S T O R Y & T E A M H I S T O R Y]
personal history

- Born in Steamboat Springs, Colorado USA

- She was the only child of two upper middle class parents. Although growing up in a privileged household, she wasn't spoiled or ignored. Both parents were often very supportive in what she wanted to do, even to the extreme of overdoing it or expecting too much out of her. Dawson never saw their over-affection as an annoyance. If anything, it drove her to be a more competitive person all around and one who strived for her own excellence.

- Living in one of the world's capitals of winter sports, at a young age she developed a particular love for snowboarding and began taking lessons. When she was old enough, with the support of her parents, Dawson began snowboarding competitively up until she was 15.

- When Dawson was fifteen, while on a skiing trip with her parents she attempted a slope too challenging for her skill level and ended up wiping out. Having made the crucial mistake of not telling anyone what she was doing, by the time the paramedics had arrived both of her legs - having multiple severe fractures- and had succumbed to frost bite. Neither of them were salvageable and both were amputated- ending her snowboarding career.

- Through extensive physical and psychiatric therapy Dawson learned how to walk again with prosthetics and return to school her junior year. Although she was constantly looked at differently, she toughed it out, graduated, and went onto college- where she learned of ATs.

- She had learned of the sports popularity over the internet but was not formally introduced into it until one of her college friends started riding. Dawson was uninterested at first, but then one night she was invited over to watch a live streaming of an A-Class Parts War and, after seeing the tricks the A-class riders pulled off, she reconsidered. Secretly, she began to ride.

- It was extremely hard. Her legs couldn't keep up with what her mind wanted which constantly frustrated her. She quit several times and started back up again, each time more determined. After a couple months of on and off training, Dawson could skate fairly fluidly. With the little confidence she had created she decided to take on a simple trick. It ended badly- her prosthetic leg couldn't handle the shock of the trick and had snapped in several places on the landing. Broke and with a low-wage job, Dawson had to ask her parents for the money to repair it. When questioned how it happened, she confessed honestly which lead into a very heated argument on the topic and although she was of age to make decisions for herself, her parents threatened her with their school funding. It was an unanimous decision from that point on- Dawson sold her ATs and quit riding.

- The summer following, Dawson was offered the chance to study abroad over in Japan for a semester. Naturally she took the opportunity and was soon on a plane to Japan. Dawson spent the first couple weeks overseas studying and sight seeing. Ever since the argument with her parents about her riding, ATs had been pushed into the back of her mind. That was, until one afternoon she happened to overhear a conversation about a parts war while on the subway home. She decided to go see it live.

- About a week after she had gone to her first live Parts War match, she was on her way home when a AT mechanic's shop caught her eye. With her interest in ATs renewed she decided to humor herself and walked in to check out the gear. Greeted from the get go by the mechanic, they small talked as she looked around. The conversation lead to the mechanic asking of her situation- why she couldn't ride, and Dawson explained. The mechanic offered her a deal. In exchange for working in the shop over the summer, she would be given a pair of ATs and some proper lessons in how to use them. Dawson agreed.

- She returned to America in the fall and continued with school as usual. When she wasn't studying for classes, she was outside or inside practicing her techniques. Having learned the ins and outs of repairing her own ATs over the summer, she was able to keep riding a secret. When she damaged her ATs she would buy the parts herself to fix them, which would keep her parents out of the know how. Therefore, her parents continued to fund her college education. After a couple more years Dawson finished her Bachelor's Degree and graduated college. She found a job in Japan and moved there permanently where she started the team Jurassic.

- Several years after the formation of Jurassic and its rise into B-Rank, she was contacted rather out of the blue by the mechanic. It was quite the surprise, but at the same time a pleasure. They reconvened and after a bit of chat and catching up, it came down to the real reason why she had been contacted. The Fang Regalia, after having been thought to have vanished, had reappeared. Its king, for no specified reason, was offering it up as a prize to the worthy opponent who bested him and his team in a parts war. The whole thing had drawn quite the attention. The mechanic thought Dawson would be interested.

- At first she was unsure. Although she had heard of the existence of regalias and of riders visualizing roads, she knew nothing else- which put her at a clear disadvantage. Furthermore, it reminded her of her accident. But, as he/she had before, the mechanic was willing to educate her if she was willing to learn. Dawson decided to take on the challenge.

- When she was ready, she challenged the Fang King to a B-Ranked Parts War. He agreed, and they fought. It was a tight battle from start to finish, the two of them almost equal in skill. But with an ace in the hole, Dawson triumphed and obtained the Fang Regalia. Returning back to the mechanic, as part of their earlier agreement if she were to win, he/she revamped Dawson's ATs with parts of the Fang Regalia.

- Now the Fanq Queen, she works at perfecting Bloody Armor and strengthening the existence of her road while Jurassic continues to grow and evolve into an even stronger force to be reckoned with.

TLDR: American born, Dawson used to be a competitive snowboarder until she had an accident at 15 where she lost both her legs. Got into ATs in college and even more so when she study abroad in Japan. Was taught by a Mechanic and a /little/ by Siegfried on how to ride more competitively. Moved to Japan after college and became Fang Queen.

Leader; Dawson Hunt
Teammates;
- Basil Stanek [mrakobulka] [x]
- Astelle Yupley [sukee] [x]
- Trent Wylde [axelyaoiroxas] [x]

[ R E L A T I O N S H I P S]

Basil Stanek; teammate
Almost like a little brother, despite his 'abstract' personality she acknowledges his will to better himself and respects who he is regardless of what others think. Whenever someone talks down to him or about him negatively, she kindly corrects them- normally with some harsh words and/or a punch to the gut.
Elle Yupley; classmate
They met back in a college class and hung out with similar friends though weren't exactly close. After Dawson happened upon Elle in Japan and found out she was still interested in ATs, she naturally invited her to join Jurassic. They've become closer ever since.

Trent Wylde; friends
They stand on neutral grounds of respect for another, and is a go to candidate when Dawson needs help with a problem or situation. She trusts Trent and to an extent, considers him a friend. They get along pretty damn well and she finds him a valuable teammate of Jurassic.

Kris Monroet; acquaintance
At first she was off-put by her upfront nature but now Dawson feels a little more comfortable around her. She doesn't know much about Kris, other than shes Trent's tuner, but is interested in spending time with her and getting to know her better. After all, any serious association with Trent, Dawson has the need to approve of.

Siegfried Gheist; rival
Her number one competition for everything, Dawson takes almost every gesture of his as a sign of who can be better than the other. She wants to rip him down off that high throne of his and beat that smug grin off his face just to feel the accomplishment that comes with winning against a king like him. Unlike most others she surrounds herself with, Dawson struggles also to keep a cool demeanor around him and will often carry her words with attitude. Despite all this, there lies some deep respect and a trust only built through strong feelings- most of which, Dawson will fail to admit having.

Tyler; some guy
Dawson can't say she particularly likes him- she finds his "cool act" rather annoying and his pick up lines sourly awful but she doesn't hate him either. To her, he seems the type to want to pick unnecessary fights, and shes not really looking for it half the time. Though, seeing an apparent glimpse of a sweet side he may or may not have, leads her to tolerate him just a little bit more. Plus, Dawson can't say that she doesn't get some amusement in taking his lines and throwing them right back. Its just too rich.

T0psy; mystery
She knows them as the White Rabbit Rider but otherwise has no association to them. Though, they seem to have an edge on her.. too much so. Dawson finds T0psy irritating, but only because they know more about her than she does of them and every time they come around, they knock her metaphorically off balance. Shes not to keen on solving their mysteries but feels she has to. Ontop of that, her ATs got f-ed up cause of them... which is never fun.

Santa; safety hazard
After getting killed almost the two times shes seen him, shes slightly wary for his well being, just from a human being stand point. Also although others may see his flirting as a pain, Dawson finds his antics cute and flattering in comparison to Tyler's brash and bold pickup lines. Though, Dawson isn't exactly interested, Santa's mix of gentleman and naive nature is too innocent to be critical towards.

Jarrik Sato; fellow king
While shes heard a lot of bad connotations surrounding Jarrik, Dawson doesn't much mind his company. A little hot-headed and quick to anger she avoids purposely trying to piss him off most of the time. He's very... entertaining she would say and although shes still not quite sure whether to like him or not, Dawson doesn't mind a friendly challenge here and there.

Gareki; wolf in sheep's clothing
Dawson finds Gareki similar to a stray, a mischievous lone rider who has the potential to grow even at his high level. She wants him on the team, though finds his immaturity a turn-off. It also doesn't help that he is against teams either. Perhaps she sees the potential Wind King in him yet and knows a few things about taking him to the top is the reason why Dawson wants to invest some amount of time in him. Who knows really.

Trix; troublemaker
There isn't really friendship or rivalry here. Respect... perhaps a little. If anything Dawson finds Trix a little nuisance from time to time, knowing of how they pick on and annoy some of her riders. Though because the Moon King's antics are borderline childish, she doesn't take most of them seriously. Even Dawson sometimes likes to poke fun at Trix every once in a while- the king seemingly very intimidated by her presence. She also thinks of Trix as Basil's rival, or at least, a person that Basil takes inspiration from to better himself.

- Her favorite dessert is Strawberry Shortcake with Applesauce on the side.
- Dawson is terrified of water not because she can't swim but because her legs -with the exception of small amounts... like rain- are not water resistant. On top of losing the ability to kick, the weight of her legs drags her down until she detaches them... which, is rather hard to do when you're being dragged under.
